Land Use Classification for Marsh Creek, 2009
A land cover classification was performed on the Marsh Creek watershed for 2009 using LandSat5 imagery. The classification parameters were provided by the Atlanta Regional Commission. Upon completion of the classification and analysis it was determined that percentage of impervious surfaces for this watershed during 2009 was 34.1%.
The following table is a complete breakdown of the individual classes and their respective values pertaining to land cover percentages:
